- After clicking on the tab, you will be redirected to a new page, which will require you to fill in your credentials like UAN number, password, and captcha code.
- After clicking on the “Sign in” option, a six-digit OTP will be sent to your Aadhar-registered mobile number.
- Enter the six-digit OTP, and click on the “Verify” option.

Things to Keep in Mind before Checking PF Balance through the EPFO Portal
There are some requirements you need to ensure before you can check the PF balance through the EPFO portal. The list of requirements is given below:
- You must make sure that your UAN number is activated and registered on the portal before performing a PF account balance check.
- Six hours post-registering on the EPFO portal, you will be able to view your passbook.
- The passbook will reflect the updated entries patched up by the EPFO Offices.
2) PF Balance Check through the UMANG App

Steps to Check PF Balance for Exempted Establishments
If your company is an EPF-exempted establishment or a private PF trust, you cannot view your PF balance on the EPFO portal. You can follow the given steps:
